From the airport
Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL) is a straight shot south of both homes. MARTA's rail line connects directly to the airport, so you can train in from ATL, or grab a rideshare door-to-door up GA-400 / the Connector.
The simplest way to reach Mercedes-Benz Stadium on a match day is the train. Here's how MARTA works, how to get to it from each home, where to park, and how to handle the airport and rideshare.
MARTA is Atlanta's rail system. For the World Cup the key fact is simple: the rail line runs straight into the downtown stadium district, so you can skip driving downtown entirely. Trains are color-coded by line; ride toward downtown and follow signage for the stadium (the GWCC/CNN Center / Vine City area sits right by Mercedes-Benz Stadium).
MARTA uses a reloadable Breeze Card (or mobile fare). Buy one from the machines at any station, load a few rides or a day pass, and tap in at the gate. One flat fare covers your ride regardless of distance. For a group, buy several Breeze Cards at once from the same machine.
Trains get busy before and after matches — that's the point, everyone's avoiding the roads. Give yourself extra time, especially with the stadium's clear-bag policy and security. Gates open about three hours before kickoff, so arriving early and relaxed beats sitting in match-day traffic.
The condo sits one stop from the MARTA Red Line in the Sandy Springs corridor. Easiest match-day routine: drive or rideshare the short distance to the nearest Red Line station (Sandy Springs or North Springs), park in the station deck, and ride south toward downtown for the stadium. The condo has free on-site parking, so your car stays put if you'd rather rideshare to the station.
GA-400 and US-19 (Roswell Road) give quick highway access to downtown — but expect heavy match-day traffic and scarce, expensive parking near the stadium. The train is almost always faster on match days.
The townhouse is minutes from Northridge and the GA-400 corridor, with the Red Line close by. Match-day routine: head to the nearest Red Line station (North Springs has a large parking deck), park there, and ride south toward downtown. With a group of six, splitting one or two cars to the station and taking the train together is the smoothest, cheapest way in.
GA-400 connects you quickly across metro Atlanta, but downtown parking on match days fills early and runs high. Use the train for the stadium; save the car for malls, restaurants, and day trips.
Ride the train toward downtown and exit at the stadium-district stops (GWCC/CNN Center or Vine City are closest). From there it's a short, well-signed walk to the gates, with staff and wayfinding in place for the tournament. Accessible drop-off and entrances are on both sides of the stadium. Driving and parking right at the stadium is possible but pricey and slow on match days — the train is the move.

Uber and Lyft are widely available across north Atlanta and downtown — great for the short hop to your MARTA station, late returns after an evening match, or nights out on Roswell Road. Match-day surge near the stadium is real; the train wins for the games.
Both homes have free on-site parking, so a car is easy here. For the stadium, park at a MARTA station deck and ride in. For malls, restaurants, and day trips, driving is simple with GA-400 and US-19 right there.
